CHICAGO, IL – CYCLOSdirect.com and CYCLOS WATCH, a Swiss luxury timepiece company, announced today that it has entered into an endorsement deal with Chicago Bears Place Kicker Robbie Gould, the Penn State graduate who rocked Chicago fans from coast to coast into the playoffs last year.
In his role, Gould will promote CYCLOS watches via public appearances, wearing the watch in TV & magazine appearances, and lending his likeness to promotional activity, including radio, print, online and in-store advertising. Specific terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
Gould was named to the 2006 NFL Pro Bowl in just his second year in the league. The Associated Press also named Robbie to the 2006 All-Pro team.
"You don't have to have a big name to be of superior quality. Sometimes a lesser known or unheralded entity can provide the highest level of performance, which is the spirit I embody in my career as an NFL Kicker," notes Gould, who, like CYCLOS knew he was unique and top quality, but just wanted a chance to be seen. Gould was undrafted out of college, but his talent and perseverance has helped him become a star in the NFL.
For people who make the most of all of their time – on a 24-hour basis – CYCLOS WATCH presents a compelling way of timekeeping. CYCLOS was designed for people who appreciate both unconventional design and the technical aspects of mechanical timepieces from a small specialty watchmaker. This remarkable timepiece stretches the boundaries of imagination. The concept is simple and yet has an amazing effect.
“The same can be said when watching Robbie Gould out on the field,” remarks John-Michael Ermel, of CYCLOS International LLC, the importer/reseller throughout the Americas. “His confidence and reliability is unparalleled. He is young, talented, fun to watch and will most defiantly be a big star during the day & night! In that spirit there is no other watch in the world like a CYCLOS. Truly unique, one-of-a-kind, just like Robbie!”
